PROJECT description:
Incorporated into its semi-arid surroundings MU25 sits in an architectural dialogue with the steep and rolling canyons of Los Angeles. Covering nearly 2,700 square feet this residency continues an Angelino tradition of seclusive residencies in plain sight. In order to create a harmonious and private space the structure sits back from the road accessible by a long driveway that ramps up and around to reveal an enduring piece of modern architecture. With private bedrooms facing away from the road and the master bedroom perched underneath a slanted opening the common areas offer stunning views of Los Angeles. The jagged walls of the corners break the interior space into several modules and expand the living space of its inhabitants.
